Job Description: Working for a well established company, they have a team of skilled professional engineers have years of experience in designing and developing top of the range fan systems including Axial, Centrifugal and extremely robust industrial fans. they use the latest technology including state of the art CAD/CAM design apparatus in order to create high quality fans with a long service of life. They select, design, manufacture and supply a wide range of centrifugal and axial flow fans for all types of applications. You will be using hand held tools and jobshadowing experienced engineers, learning new skills, linishing, grinding, finishing welds off and degreasing. The company offer a progression route fabrication/welding or fitting/spraying.

Job Description: You will be training in the Toolroom, but you will also learn all aspects of the business including Fabrication, tube manipulation, welding, presswork, prototyping and welding. Toolmakers produce precision tools like jigs, dies, and moulds that are used to make parts in manufacturing. You'll work with metals, alloys, and composite materials, known as 'stocks' or castings.

Duties: Working with 2D and 3D computer aided design and manufacturing software (CAD/CAM) Marking out the tool design on the 'stock' or casting following engineering drawings Cutting and shaping tools using a combination of lathes, presses and cutting machines Checking dimensions with precision measuring instruments like micrometres and gauges Carrying out basic machine maintenance
