We are proud to announce that since the merger of LEAD & LEMA, we are witnessing significant business growth which has necessitated a move to newer and bigger facilities located in Dudley and Birmingham. Although we no longer have an office based in Hagley, we will continue to offer the same high quality, professional service from our new Head Office address on Unit 3 Hillcrest Business Park, Cinder Bank, Dudley DY2 9AP.
Proud to be part of an organisation that cares about and promotes the education of Engineering and Manufacturing alongside established continuous improvement apprenticeships in the workplace. This merger will support industries in Engineering and Manufacturing offering apprenticeship opportunities locally and nationally.
Following the merger of LEAD & LEMA in April 2021, we are in a strong position to extend our product offer to include an even larger selection of products and services to employers locally and nationally. We have a clear focus on developing Apprentices from the age of 16 upwards and commercial courses in continuous improvement, manufacturing operations engineering, electrical and warehousing and supply chain.
Lean Education and Development Ltd (LEAD) have constructed an ambitious ‘LEAN oriented’ curriculum; designed to deliver the ‘continuous improvement’ (CI) skill needs of local and national employers. The broad base of the curriculum ensures apprentices engage in a realistic and rich vocational learning environment developing continuous improvement skills. We offer a suite of qualifications to meet employer demands forged through extensive strong links with national and multinational employers. Our CI curriculum of nationally recognised LEAN qualifications offers apprentices and employees the opportunity to transition successfully within a ‘suite of standards’ from level 2 (intermediate) through advanced level 3 on to higher apprenticeships at level 4. The curriculum is a progressive model, the content is largely traditional delivered on employers’ premises and remains challenging and ambitious. The ambitious aspects of the curriculum retain personal development targets designed to assist employers and apprentices realise success and accomplish organisational skill needs and personal goals and close skill gaps, save time money and vital resources.
Our combined offer strengthens our industrial reach into the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Our engineering offer remains unchanged we continue with the delivery of engineering services on employer site locations complimented further through the provision of great opportunities to acquire new knowledge & skills at our two purpose-built academies in the Black Country and Birmingham. We also offer local employers a “learner find” service matching local talent to jobs in the engineering sector, saving time and resources for employers sourcing and recruiting new staff members.
LEAD limited would like to extend the offer to all employers locally to visit and meet the staff at our new head office address at Cinder bank Dudley.
